We''re looking for a Principle Sales Engineer to join the team to help scale the business in the Northeast.

Responsibilities include:

As a Principle Systems Engineer, you and your Regional Sales Director will be responsible for presenting Banyan''s Zero Trust Network Access solution to prospective customers, creating and delivering demonstrations of the products, gathering customer technical requirements, creating evaluation test plans with customers, and then managing the evaluation process to a successful conclusion.

You will work closely with customers and partners as their primary point of contact for feedback and resolution of issues and will be the customers advocate for issues that require assistance from the HQ Support team. You will provide feedback to the Product Management team on new feature requests and product enhancements from your customer base.

About You:

You are a seasoned technologist who understands the challenges organizations face in implementing innovative technologies into complex IT environments across heterogeneous environments. You have engineering depth, a customer-first mentality, and the desire to ensure customers achieve their business and security objectives with our products.

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of the Zero Trust ecosystem and competitors
  • Ability to setup POCs and build demos working with prospective customers
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Experience with cloud platforms - AWS, Azure, GCP
  • Operational knowledge of networking protocols - understanding of the various layers, TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, HTTP
  • Experience with cloud security and permissions systems - VPC, Security Groups, IAM
  • Understanding of identity and access technologies - SSO, SAML Federated Identity, OIDC, RBAC
  • Experience with network security - IPSEC, SSL-VPN, NAT, GRE - and endpoint security software - Antivirus, DLP, IPS, NAC
  • A Bachelor''s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in technical positions
