The primary responsibilities of this role, Director, Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) Consumer Health U.S. are to: Provide strategic human resources leadership and support to the US Consumer Health Sales organization. Oversee the talent to value mapping and relevant mitigation for critical roles within Consumer Health US Sales. Oversee Talent Acquisition, Development, Training and all HR support of the diverse employees across multiple customer sites for the Consumer Health US Sales organization; Responsible for culture and engagement for North America Consumer Health division including creation of the culture strategy and oversight of the Culture game changer community (40+ cross functional resources), as well as execution of Division wide High Performance Culture events including learning series and capability lift in ecommerce and Digital; Partner with Consumer Health Global Talent Management to drive strategies for the Talent to Value approach such as succession planning and proactive talent management to drive business results across Consumer Health US Sales and other Consumer Health global organizations including Customer and Marketing Excellence and critical Sales roles globally as identified through the annual Value Agenda exercise; Serve as a member of the Consumer Health North America Sales Leadership Team to coach and advise on all people related matters and co-develop and implement objectives and business strategies; Drive strategic Sales transformation initiatives such as restructuring and capability builds in alignment with external trends and emergence of new business models (eg. Amazon); Drive strategies for the Talent to Value approach such as succession planning and proactive talent management to drive business results across Consumer Health US Sales and other Consumer Health global organizations; align job requirements to ensure competitive skills are maintained; Provide leadership for global initiatives/processes and operating models impacting the Consumer Health US Sales organization, ensuring proper coordination between global and local; Considers business needs in all HR related solutions and proposes continual improvement to HR solutions in order to have lasting impact on business results; Mentor/coach Senior Executives to enhance leadership and managerial behaviors aligned with the LIFE values, challenging employees to develop as leaders while serving as a role model and mentor; Proactively drive change management initiatives providing expert counsel and change management tools to leaders to successfully implement change; Establish and cultivate relationships to assist in building and maintaining strong, performance based team environment across Consumer Health North America Sales; Ensure field sales team is designed, capable, and continually assessed to meet ever changing customer needs including digital and ecommerce capabilities; Ensure corporate and departmental HR policies and practices, are communicated, and understood and compliance with all Federal and State laws and regulations is maintained across multiple field sales sites in North America. More specifically related to this position, Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following: Required Qualifications: Bachelor?s Degree required; 10 years of progressive corporate senior level experience in Human Resources or an equivalent combination of education and experience; Strong business acumen; Strong drive for results and action orientation; Ability to make quality and autonomous decisions; Expertise in organizational development, organizational structure and change management; Ability to handle multiple tasks in short time frames; Ability to develop an HR strategy unique to multiple sites across the region; Knowledge and experience in State and Federal Labor Law, Compliance; Strong interpersonal skills, listening skills; Ability to travel nationally up to 25%. Preferred Qualifications: MBA preferred in HR/ Organizational Development or Business; Knowledge of Consumer Health or CPG industries; SPHR a plus.
