Continuum Media is a National Television Audience Based Platform that utilizes proprietary data and logic to optimize client's media performance. Continuum's platform is a matrix of 175+ cable networks across all 210 DMAs that enables the complete optimization of a client's TV ad buy. We offer advertisers the opportunity to efficiently incorporate new audiences and greater frequency while accessing national television inventory with greater ease. We offer both English and Hispanic networks.

About the role:


Reporting to the National Planning Lead, the Sales Planner is responsible for the creation and execution of TV media plans. This position is highly visible within the organization and critical to the success of Continuum's sales initiatives, as you'll be able to utilize both your analytical and communication skills. We're looking for an individual who thrives within a team environment, but self-sufficient enough to perform with little oversight. The Sales Planner will work closely with the sales team to provide strategic recommendations based on available media resources that meet the needs of clients and agency partners, while managing daily account requests and implementing any plan revisions. We create and execute media plans for various advertisers across multiple industry verticals, so a strong knowledge of the media landscape and understanding of basic advertising principles is preferred.

What you'll do:


Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Strategically build TV media plans utilizing proprietary tools, data, and research
  • Work closely with the Sales team to execute RFPs and provide strategic direction as needed
  • Become an expert in the entire sales and operations workflow to effectively communicate with both internal and external partners
  • Work with the research team on specific agency requests and customized client reporting
  • Manage daily account functions, provide direction on pricing scenarios, and execute plan revisions
  • Collaborate with the Ad Services team on campaign analysis and optimization
  • Contribute to strategy and product development to improve internal processes
  • Other responsibilities as required (we're a small company - we all pitch in and get things done!)


What we're looking for:


  • Bachelor's degree with an emphasis on advertising, communications, or related field preferred
  • 2-3 years media experience with a focus on television advertising at either a cable/broadcast network, media agency, or similar platform
  • Thorough understanding of all key media terminology and media math
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and a dedicated team player
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and writing skills
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft office properties with an emphasis on Excel
  • Positive attitude with flexibility to work in a rapidly changing environment
