DaVita is currently seeking a People Services (Human Resources) Director to strategically align human capital strategies with organizational goals in order to improve outcomes and achieve business goals . This People Services Director is the strategic thought partner to VPs and SVPs who lead corporate functions that help support the success of our field operations group.

About this role:
The primary role of a People Services Director is to lead a team of People Service Managers (HR Business Partners) and solve complex organizational challenges through people-related solutions . This position will be based in Denver and will be responsible for building and driving an HR strategy that will help our corporate business teams meet and exceed their business and financial goals.

o You'll be a champion of DaVita's culture and values, partnering with our business leaders to help them build their organizations and make sure all people decisions are based on data. Whether coaching our clients on how to lead their teams, leading talent review discussions or managing programs that help develop our teammates, you are exceptionally focused on putting them first, and being as clear and transparent as possible to help teammates understand how people decisions get made.
o Youll be an integral part of various leadership team a , so youll need to understand every aspect of the business and be a thought leader on People and Organizational topics. Its your role to drive and execute the People Strategy that will support teammates in realizing their wildest ambitions. This will require you to think big, use data to guide your work, be comfortable challenging convention, and in some cases reinvent how work is done.
o Youll partner with a cross-functional group of subject-matter experts to staff, onboard, develop, motivate, retain and organize work. As part of our culture, youll also have the opportunity to be hands-on, working side by side with Village leaders to get things done on a variety of People-related areas. As a core part of this hands-on work, you will be rolling out programs to support Village-wide initiatives - including compensation, performance and talent programs.
More specifically, we are looking for a:
o Operational Advisor - Offer thought leadership regarding organizational and people-related strategy and execution to Senior Vice Presidents, Group Vice President s and Vice Presidents. Provide insightful data to influence decision making and provide proactive solutions. Solve problems and get to the root cause of any issue, no matter how complex, and design and quickly implement solutions that cut across multiple disciplines, even those beyond people and organizational solutions.
o Talent Manager - Provide expertise in the following areas: career planning, performance management, coaching, data analysis, compensation and rewards, employee relations, learning and development, recognition programs, and strategic development.
o Coach - Consult and collaborate with DaVitas leaders to create a comprehensive people plan to influence lasting change over large functions at DaVita.
Our ideal candidate will have:
o BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience; MA/MS/MBA degree is a plus
o 5+ years of senior level HR Business Partner experience preferably in a multi-unit environment
o Team Leadership Experience - this role has1-2 direct reports - People Service Managers
o Great at influencing through data, expertise and strong relationships. Ability to manage a complex set of stakeholders
o Comfortable rolling up your sleeves to get things done and the next moment being part of deeply complex strategy discussions
o Great communication skills and understand how to communicate large, complex change
o Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to analyze data, understand trends and develop recommendations for action based on the analysis
