Since our founding in late 2018, we?ve rescued 10 million pounds of organic produce and made it accessible to millions of people in the Eastern U.S. We?re looking for a hands-on Art Director to elevate Misfits? marketing efforts and help tell our story to customers around the country. You?ll create original and inspiring campaigns that drive growth. You?ll help tell the world about our mission and how we source produce from the farms that we work with. You?ll be responsible for concepting, pitching, and producing visual collateral with an eye toward performance. This position reports to the Head of Marketing. Who You Are An expert storyteller and communicator with great visual craft (an excellent eye for color, composition, typography, and a heart for great stories) Tapped into culture and in the know with food, internet, and social trends. Energetic, passionate, and friendly What You?ll Do Transform concepts into visual executions that articulate Misfits Market?s brand and deliver on business needs. Ensure all creative is visually and conceptually on brand across all marketing channels such as social, paid, OOH, experiential, and email. Concept, plan, direct, and organize video and photography shoots. Design a variety of digital and print assets including campaign concepts, emails, banner ads, print mailers, OOH banners, social video and photography. Requirements BFA in filmmaking, photography, graphic design, or advertising Have 3 - 5 years of experience at an advertising agency or similar experience, bonus points for experience in the food industry. Have deep expertise in Adobe suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.); Premiere Pro and After Affects a plus Have a deep knowledge of advertising platforms such as social, display media, and more. Have a sophisticated sense of typography, photography, composition, and color theory. Act as art director on shoots for both video and photo, along with experience directing photographer and or videographers on set. Ability to create illustrations, typography, motion graphics - strong video, photography, and animation skills are a plus!
