As Quartet s Lead Technical Architect/Engineer you are responsible for contributing to our core technologies that facilitate a healthcare experience that puts an emphasis on mental health care for patients across the country. Contributions by the Architect will be seen and felt in a number of forms with equal importance within our mission-driven company.

This Architect''s influence will be visible and far-reaching. Among the actions being led by the Architect are hiring, teaching, and mentoring fellow engineers. You will also have a penchant and passion for creating, writing, and developing high-quality, readable, and testable code.

It is expected that the Architect is customer-focused. In other words, you understand how product development relates to engineering and are comfortable being integrated within the process of fulfilling the needs of our customers.


  • Informing the continued evolution of Quartet s core platform architecture
  • Identify a shared vision for which the wider engineering team may aim towards
  • Contribute to our efforts toward maintaining a stable and healthy engineering culture

Minimum Qualifications

  • A strong CS background or commensurate experience
  • 10 or more years of experience shipping production code; 5 or more years of experience working with a major cloud provider; 5 or more years of experience leading a team
  • Expert knowledge of at least one programming language
  • Expert knowledge of web and API infrastructure patterns

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with a number of other programming languages and paradigms
  • A secure-by-default mindset
  • Healthcare domain knowledge and/or industry experience
  • Broad awareness of software industry trends
